We were thrilled to work with Amy + Mike and loved every step of designing their stationery suite. Amy and Mike chose our 'Hello Sailor' design as a starting point, which we then customised to achieve a wedding stationery suite that was absolutely unique to the couple. Amy and Mike chose a gorgeous custom shade of blue to pair with our 'navy' colour swatch from our colour chart. We printed the stationery on our ice silver metallic stock (rather than our textured stock), which gave their custom shade of blue a beautiful iridesent look. Additionally, we altered the typeface to a script style which suited the classic appeal that Amy was after. Their stationery choice could not have suited their day any better - the couple chose to have their reception at Brett's Wharf, Hamilton, overlooking the beautiful Brisbane river.
Invitation suite :: The couple began with save the date cards and followed on with double-sided invitation cards, 'recovery' cards (the couple had organised a get together to catch up with their guests the following day) and rsvp cards. The layout and size of each card were altered so that they would sit together as a set. We printed on both sides of all three cards using the stripes on the back of the invitation and recovery card and the rsvp information for both events were printed on the one card - white side for the wedding as per the invitation and blue side for the recovery day as per the recovery invite. Finally, we sourced striped baker's twine for the couple to tie the three cards together.
Ceremony & reception pieces :: personalised placecards, customised cocktail, ceremony and photo wall A4 signage, individual guest menus and favour tags (again using baker's twine to tie on to gifts).
